A little history about Atmostsphere

Although incorporated in the summer of 2020, Atmosphere Developments has been the brainchild of our founder Yan Shedrick for many years. At the age of 12, Yan was introduced into the world of construction working with his family on various construction projects during the summers in exchange for pay and training. With the thought of seeking innovative ways to develop the atmosphere within people’s homes and environment while caring for our planet’s atmosphere, the company name was set in mind.

Formally registered in 2006 as an Alberta sole proprietor, At-Most-Sphere Developments began gaining experience as a business working with residential and commercial renovations for clients in the Calgary area. In December of 2019, an opportunity for consulting in Project Management for an international daycare firm was on the table, it was that moment we realized we would take the company to the next level, incorporate, and begin carving our way into consulting. Supporting the builds of various daycare centers throughout Canada with a great team, the landscape was looking great! When recent pandemic circumstances struck Canada, the national projects suffered a halt. It was then we decided to pivot towards being sustainable and independent and offer our construction expertise and services to the Southern Alberta market.

Yan Shedrick

Principal – Director of Operations         

Having worked in the forest industry from the age of eighteen, Yan carved his way through various roles from processing, manufacturing, assembling and since making Alberta his home in 2005, he has worked for Calgary and Canada’s most notable real estate developers as a Site Manager and Project Manager participating in the build of over 700 multifamily units over the past 15 years. Although you can find him analyzing preconstruction or on projects managing, his passion is understanding and getting to know his clients to deliver the best product. Business meetings often take place cycling through the foothills or amongst some live music. Yan lives in Okotoks, Alberta and loves to spend time with his family, coaching his son and daughter in snowboarding, cycling, music and the great outdoors.

Business Administrator        

Amanda joins Atmostphere Developments Inc. with a commitment to excellence in office administration. She possesses a strong ability to anticipate needs and takes a proactive, self-motivated approach to her work. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Amanda fosters strong relationships across all levels of the organization. She manages comprehensive office activities, supports the leadership team, and employs her problem-solving skills to ensure project continuity.
